Hello GCC Parents,

Thank you for allowing us to partner with your family to raise your children in the worship of the Living God! This Christmas we have an opportunity for the children of our church, from Early Childhood to Upper Elementary, to participate in the telling of the story of Jesus' birth.

Our Kids Christmas Pageant will be on December 20, 2026. Practices will be held every Sunday at 10:30 am to accommodate families attending both services. It is important that your child attends as many practices as possible!

The pageant will be a simple nativity with 2 songs and 2 scripture readings. Children's roles include 3-4 readers, Joseph, Mary, 3 Wisemen, 3-5 Shepherds, the Angel of the Lord, and many start, angels and stable animals. We will assign roles October 4.

Costumes are the parents' responsibility, and we welcome costumes of all effort levels, from a simple headband with donkey ears to a Pinterest-worthy angel costume. Costumes must be approved before December 13. Costumes may be stored in the kids building if needed.

We will be learning Away in a Manger and Go Tell It on the Mountain. Lyrics will be provided. (Links to songs coming soon!) Please practice these songs with your children at home! The more they know the songs, the more fun they'll have (and the better the videos will be *wink wink).
