FREEDOM: Freedom is a precious gift, one that many of us take for granted. Yet, the freedom we enjoy as believers in Christ came at a great cost. It was not free. It was bought with the highest price imaginable - the life of God’s only Son, Yeshua/Jesus.Yeshua, the Lamb of God, willingly laid down His life on the cross. He bore our sins, our guilt, and our shame. He endured the punishment that we deserved so that we could be set free from the bondage of sin. His sacrifice was the ultimate expression of love - a love so profound and unconditional that it’s beyond human comprehension.“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8This freedom we have in Christ is not a license to sin, but rather an invitation to live a life that honors God. It’s an opportunity to experience true peace, joy, and fulfillment that can only come from a relationship with our Creator.“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” - Galatians 5:1As we reflect on Yeshua's sacrifice, let us not take our freedom for granted. Instead, let us release His Life from within to live in a way that reflects our gratitude for the price paid FOR our freedom. We should remember that our freedom was not free, but it was a sacrificial act of the Son of God to gain a passageway into all those who believe.Review: 1 Peter 2:16-18 To receive messages like this on your device, type “Subscribe” to (833) 249-9731.
