Hey Wave Kids Families!

Back to School Weekend is HERE, and we have so much to look forward to! From our Wave Kids Choir helping lead our church in worship on Sunday to our Back to School Party on Monday, it’s going to be an exciting few days for our Wave Kids families! 💙🧡

🎤 K–5 FAMILIES: REHEARSAL IS TONIGHT!

Before the big day, we have ONE more rehearsal!

Our final Back to School Sunday Choir rehearsal is TONIGHT at 6:15 PM for all participating Kindergarten–5th Grade kids! 🎶

This is our last chance to practice together before Sunday, so we’d love to have all of our kiddos there as we run through the songs, motions, and get everyone ready to help lead our church in worship!

Parents: Please plan to remain on church property for the entirety of rehearsal. You’re also more than welcome to join us in the sanctuary, learn the motions, and practice right along with us!

We can’t wait to see everyone TONIGHT at 6:15 PM! 🙌

Elementary Families (Kindergarten–5th Grade), this section is especially for you!

This Sunday, August 23, our Wave Kids Choir will help lead worship during all three services, and we cannot wait to see our kids on stage praising Jesus!

⏰ PLEASE HELP US GET EVERY CHILD ON STAGE ON TIME!

Parents, one of the biggest ways you can help us this Sunday is by arriving at your service’s listed arrival time.

We have a lot of kiddos to check in, organize, and get into their correct places before they walk on stage. Arriving on time gives our Check-In Team enough time to get your child checked in and gives our Choir Team the time they need to line everyone up and have them ready before service begins.

Please plan to arrive at:

8:00 AM Service

➡️ 7:40 AM Arrival

Kids will be ready to go on stage by 7:55 AM

9:15 AM Service

➡️ 8:55 AM Arrival

Kids will be ready to go on stage by 9:10 AM

11:00 AM Service

➡️ 10:40 AM Arrival

Kids will be ready to go on stage by 10:55 AM

For the 9:15 and 11:00 services, once your child is checked in, please have them go straight to the K–3 Room. Our team will be waiting there to get everyone lined up and ready for the stage.

We know Sunday mornings can be busy for families, and we greatly appreciate you making these arrival times a priority. Getting your child to us on time will make a huge difference in helping the morning run smoothly and ensuring they’re in place to participate with the choir! 💙

⭐ Remember: Your child does NOT need to attend all three services. They will only sing during the service your family normally attends.

Don’t forget to have your child wear bright, fun colors from the Back to School color palette that was provided!

We are so excited to watch our Wave Kids lead our church in worship. It’s going to be such a special Sunday!

🎉 AND THEN... BACK TO SCHOOL PARTY!

The celebration isn’t over after Sunday!

School starts Monday, August 24, and we’re throwing a Back to School Party from 3:45–5:45 PM to celebrate the first day!

Pick up your kiddos from school and head over to Wave Church for an afternoon of FUN with the whole family! 🎉

We’ll have:

• 🏰 Bouncy Houses
• 🎨 Face Painting
• ✂️ Crafts
• 📸 Photo Area

There’s no better way to finish the first day of school than celebrating together! Invite another family and come hang out with us!

It’s going to be an incredible Back to School Weekend in Wave Kids, and we’re praying for every student, teacher, school staff member, and family as a brand-new school year begins.
