EVERLASTING FIRE:

“For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16

The Holy Word of God speaks of a place of eternal separation from God, often referred to as hell or the everlasting fire. It is a place of torment, darkness, and despair. But the good news of the Gospel is that indwelt believers in Jesus Christ are freed from this destiny.

God, in His infinite love, sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for our sins on the cross. This act of divine love and mercy has opened the way for us to be reconciled with God and to receive the gift of eternal life.

As believers, we are not destined for everlasting fire but for an eternity in the presence of God, where there is fullness of joy and perfection of the forthcoming New Earth (Rev. 21:1). This is the hope that we have in Christ, a hope that is steadfast and sure.

LIVE THE TRUTH:

If we live this truth, our children's children will grow to understand a future that is set before all those who authentically receive Jesus Christ as their Savior - let alone give us a hope for today in times of tribulations. Let us live in the light of this truth, allowing it to shape our lives and actions. Be compelled to share this good news with others, so they too may come to know the freedom and hope found in Christ.
