Hey Families!

This July, we are jumping into a brand-new learning series called WE ARE FAMILY! And yes, it is going to feel a lot like Family Game Night! 🎲♟️🎉

Throughout the month, our children will explore the story of Abraham and his family. And if you know anything about families, you know there can be blessings, challenges, big personalities, disagreements, unexpected turns, and plenty of lessons along the way. Abraham’s family was no different!

Through their story, our children will discover four truths they can carry with them:

  • We can believe God’s promises.
  • We can pray for our families.
  • We can trust God to provide.
  • We’re all welcome in God’s family.

Our goal is not simply for children to hear another Bible story. We want them to understand what these truths mean in their actual lives. How do I trust God when I do not know what happens next? How can I pray for the people in my family? What does it look like to believe that God will provide? How should I treat people who are different from me?

Our memory verse for July is:

“Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love.”

Ephesians 5:1–2a (NIV)

Families, we need you in this with us. Ask your children what they learned. Practice the memory verse together. Pray as a family. Share stories about times when you have seen God keep a promise or provide for your family.

We are excited about July. Bring the whole family and get ready. It’s game time! 🎲
