Mission Offering: We will be receiving separate offering for missions today. Please designate “missions” on your offering check or envelope.
Sunday Evening: Please join us this evening to enjoy a time of games, snacks & fellowship. We all bring a snack to share.
Wednesday Service: We hope to see you Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. for a meal followed by small groups for children, youth, and adult Bible Study at 6:00 p.m. We look forward to sharing a free meal with each other, enjoying a time of fellowship, and studying God’s Word together.
Church Membership Class for Youth: The last membership class for the youth is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21st at 6 p.m.
Pastor Appreciation Month: October is Pastor Appreciation Month. Confession: I borrowed the following, with some improvising, from a friend of mine because it is a great reminder to all of us of the importance of a pastoral calling. Pastoral ministry is more than a position or a title – it’s a calling to serve, love, and shepherd the hearts of others. We’re thankful for the hearts of our pastors who answered that call (Pastor Chris & Tre) and for the ways God continues to work through their ministry here at Crosspoint Church. We are also blessed with a number of retired ministers who continue in God’s calling to serve in our church. May we always be a church that prays for, encourages, and walks alongside those God has called to lead.

Celebration of Life: A Celebration of Life is scheduled for John Garrison Sr. on Saturday, October 24, 2026 during the hours of 4 and 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.The family has asked if anyone has one of John’s paintings or writings that you would please bring it to be placed on display during the celebration.
Safe Walk on Dearborn: We plan to hand out treats at this annual event on Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 5 to 7 p.m. If you would like to donate treats / candy, please bring to the church and place in the bin at the back of the sanctuary. Let John Garrison, Jr. know if you would like to volunteer to help.
Helping Hands: “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’.” Acts 20:35 Thank you for how you give to Helping Hands supporting our community by sharing nonperishable food, toiletries, and paper products. We can also help the “weak” by assisting those with other needs like praying for someone, offering a ride, sitting with a lonely person, or inviting someone to a meal. Ask God what He would have you do this week to reach out to others in need.
Bible Study: During the next Ladies’ Bible Study scheduled for November 7th we will be on Lesson 3 of the Bible study, “Thirty Life Principles” by Charles Stanley. Ladies are welcome to join at any time.

Southern Florida District NMI News: A Day of Prayer is scheduled for November 7th 9:30 a – 12 p at Lake Placid Conference Center to pray for churches, pastors, leaders, communities, families, missions, and a new building project at the Center. Register www.sfnazarene.org.
