Can you be dead… and finally begin to live?

Most people spend their lives pursuing their plans, their dreams, and their ambitions. Yet the Christian life begins with a different reality:

“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” — Colossians 3:3

Jesus is our perfect example. As a boy, He declared, “Wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?” (Luke 2:49). Throughout His ministry He lived to do the Father’s will, not His own. Even in Gethsemane He prayed, “Nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” (Luke 22:42)

Jesus did not merely come to die on the cross — He lived every day having already surrendered His own will to the Father.

What does it mean for us to die to our own plans and discover the life God designed for us? What happens when our identity, purpose, and future become “hid with Christ in God”?

Join us tonight as we continue our study in Colossians.
