"What shall we say about such things?" Paul asks in Romans 8:31. Such wonderful things! From the Holy Spirit helping us in our weakness, saying prayers for us and pleading in words that can't be expressed; to God weaving a tapestry of goodness out of all circumstances, good or bad. And Paul's follow-up question is: “If God is for us, who can ever be against us?" That is the question we must all settle in our hearts and minds: that no matter how tough life may get or who refuses to love us; that God's passionate love will sustain us—a love so deep and so wide that He didn’t withhold His best from us—He gave His son,Jesus, for us all! “Can anything separate us from Christ's love?” Shout no in persecution! Shout no in despair, loneliness, poverty, whatever dreadful situation arises—even when sickness threatens us—SHOUT NO! God loves me, loves us, and He makes beauty from thorns! (Explore Romans 8:31-39).
